"Cycling Psychology: Common Themes and Clinical Concerns"
This presentation will discuss the most common psychological issues faced by cyclists, including clinical issues most commonly seen at the USOC with both endurance and “high-speed” athletes. After an overview of the issues, the talk will focus on “first contact” and the initial interview, as well as psychological issues to monitor over longer term relationships.
